Project Description
Developed a custom boat rental booking system to manage reservations across four distinct locations. Each location presented unique pricing structures, boat inventories, and booking requirements, making existing WordPress rental plugins unsuitable.
To address this complexity:
I leveraged WooCommerce as a foundation for the e-commerce functionality (product catalog, shopping cart, checkout).
Implemented custom PHP code to handle location-specific pricing rules, boat availability, and booking logic, integrating directly with WooCommerce's order management system.
This solution provided a flexible and scalable platform for managing diverse rental offerings, ensuring a seamless booking experience for customers across all locations.
The project was finished in two weeks, but it was actually delivered a week early. There was a misunderstanding about the requirement, but the problem was solved successfully. 😉
